Wash & Care

• All-natural dyed fabrics are prone to bleeding in the first 2-3 washes. The excess dye gets washed out during initial washes.
• Dry clean your naturally dyed silk fabrics.
• Another alternative, if you are washing at home is to use cold water with detergents like “OK/Wheel Soap” or “Ivory soap” that have less acidic content. Do not use harsh detergents.
• Delicate hand wash.
• Always dry it away from direct sunlight in the shade.
• Always iron the fabric at medium temperature, inside out.
• To reduce the effects of discoloration, fold the fabrics inside out and wrap them in old dhotis or plain white dupattas/fabrics or use our TATI bags for storage.
• After washing the shawls, you might have to brush out the tassels lightly to retain their natural fall.
